For Veterans returning with the scars of war, the fight doesn’t end upon their arrival home. Some of the toughest battles arise with the institutions that are meant to support them, whether it is the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or Congress, fail to comprehend the challenges Veterans encounter or when they ignore their pleas. The Advocacy team at The Independence Fund steps in to address these critical needs, amplifying the voices of those who bravely served our nation.
