Directly Supporting Veterans and Celebrating Their Heroism

Our resources encompass valuable information for Veterans in crisis, celebrating Veterans’ Alive Days, as well as kits for teaching CEO Sarah Verardo’s children’s book “Hero at Home” in classrooms and at home.

Alive Day & Wounded Heroes Day

Alive Days celebrate anniversaries of a Veteran’s survival of a combat wound, and North Carolina celebrates Wounded Heroes Day on April 24th to recognize servicemembers’ sacrifices.

“Hero at Home” Classroom Kit

Sarah Verardo’s children’s book, “Hero at Home,” helps children learn about the challenges faced by wounded Veterans with resources for discussing the book in school or at home.
