No Sh!t There I Was …
It’s the phrase that precludes every great, ridiculous, and absurd military story, and for the month of November, we want to hear them all! If there is one thing that unifies the Veteran community, it’s these No Sh!t stories.To participate, grab a cell phone and just record yourself telling your story, You can use the above as an example. There are no rules to the game, just tell your story and post it where you can and add a hashtag: #thereiwas.
For the month of November, we’ll also be sending free No Sh!t shirts every week if your story is the most engaging story as measured by likes, comments and shares. Even if you don’t win a shirt, we welcome everyone participating to buy one.
All proceeds will directly go to help catastrophically wounded Veterans and their families. We look forward to seeing you out there. Let’s have fun with this. It’s 2020. We all can use a little laughter. Some of our personal favorite stories will be posted on our Facebook page.
